“入乎其內，出乎其外”－王國維《人間詞話》第六十則試析

摘要

由於「出／入」這套術語在中國傳統文學評論中應用已久，因此王國維在《人間詞話》第六十則提出「詩人對宇宙人生，須入乎其內，又須出乎其外」時，並不一定源自其所接受的西方哲學觀，以《人間詞話》「中西合璧」的特色，第六十則的內容未嘗不可從中國傳統文論進行理解，本文認爲：（一）「入乎其內」指的是「取象」精切而得其神理，「出乎其外」指的是「超以象外」，產生多重意義的「言外之味」。（二）王國維的「出入說」，可能是針對清代常州詞派理論家周濟的「出入說」所提出，目的在貶抑晚清詞壇學習吳文英的風尚，提倡五代北宋詞。
詩人對於人生宇宙，須入乎其內，又須出乎其外。入乎其內，故能寫之；出乎其外，故能觀之。入乎其內，故有生氣，故有高致。美成能入而不能出，白石以降，於此二事皆未夢見。（人間詞話第60則）

Because of the traditional concept about ”in/out” in Chinese literary criticism, we can interpret the sixty item of Wang Guo Wei(王國維)”Ren Jien Ci Hua”(人間詞話) by Chinese literary criticism theory. The conclusion of this paper is: (1) ”in to the object” means to describe scenery and people vividly; ”out of the object” means to make hidden significance between the lines. (2) Wang Guo Wei recommended the works of Ci (詞) during the Five-Dynasty and North-Song, and resisted the theory of Zho Ji(周濟).
