Implantation of Endourethral Stent in the Treatment of Urethral Strictures
植入人工尿道壁支撐物治療尿道狹窄
摘要
我們報告使用一種新的人工尿道壁支撐物來治療復發性尿道狹窄。這是一種用網狀細緻的不銹鋼絲所做成管狀支撐物。它具可彎曲性，而且當從載負它的特殊導管中釋出時會往四週擴張而達到支撐尿道的效果。從民國89年6月開始，我們對三位復發性尿道狹窄的病置放這種新尿道支撐物。病人術後三，六及十二個月時追蹤尿麼速，尿道鏡及逆行性尿道攝影。初期的結果非常良好，病人對目前的排尿情形非常滿意，而且無任何重的的併發症發生。依據我們短期的經驗，我們認為這種人工尿道壁支撐物是一種簡單，安全，有效的技術，惟需要進一步的追蹤觀察。

A new urethral stent is described a flexible tubular mesh developed for the treatment of recurrent urethral stricture. The stent is made of fine stainless stell wires and is self-expanding when released from a special delivery instrument. Since June 1991, the new device has been implanted into three patients with recurrent bulbar urethral stricture. Patients were followed by urethroscopy, retrograde urethrography and uroflowmetry at 3, 6 and 12 months after operation. The results were good without any serious complication at present; all patients are satisfied with their micturition. According to our short-term results, the new urethral stent seems to be a simple and effective device for use with urethral strictures; nevertheless, a longer follow-up will be necessary.
