Intranasal Extragingival Embedded Teeth – Case Report

摘要

一名十歲男童主訴經常左側鼻塞歷半年之久，他被帶到一間診所，經過檢查發現左鼻孔內有疑似石題的白色異物，但卻無法取出，轉到本院後，從左鼻腔底取出一顆異位齒，同時經由口腔在硬顎上取出另一異位齒。多發性齦槽外的異位齒大部份發生在硬顎骨的口腔面，但很少發生在鼻腔內面，而且如果發生在鼻腔面，很容易被誤診為鼻腔異物。由於此病例很有趣而且在耳鼻喉科文獻上少見，特提出報告。

A 10-year-old boy was noted to have a white foreign body, presumed to be a stone, in the nasal cavity for six months with nasal obstruction. A pedunculated tooth with root attached over the palatine bone was removed from the left floor of nasal cavity. He also coincidentally had another tooth embedded in the middle portion of the hard palate which was removed transorally. Multiple extraginival embedded teeth are commonly reported in the oral surface of the hard palate. However, intranasal cavity extragingival teeth which was misdiagnosed as a nasal foreign body is uncommon in our otolaryngologic literature.
