The Friendship with Teachers and Friends and the Real Care Reflected by 《Splendor in the Grass-A Venture of Poetry》 of Yeh, Jung-chung

The study object of this text is 《Splendor in the Grass-A Venture of Poetry》 of Yeh, Jung-Chung of which the antiphony and association with teachers and friends and works of mourning are further discussed. In the text, it arranges the interpersonal network presented in 《Splendor in the Grass-A Venture of Poetry》 first, and analyzes the characters of the interpersonal network. Then, it discusses the friendship between teachers and friends which is reflected by 《Splendor in the Grass-A Venture of Poetry》 and divided into three parts, ”teachers of Li Society”, ”teachers and students of Lukang”, and ”close friends in the literary circle”. At last, from the poems of antiphony and mourning in this book, it is concluded with three spirits of caring the reality which are ”concern for Taiwan's destiny”, ”insistence on ambition and integrity”, and ”the cultural implication of imparting Han poetry”. The purpose of this text is to show the literary aspiration and personality paragon of Taiwan's intellectuals to promote offspring to be familiar with the personality and works of Taiwan's sages via the detailed analysis of the related works of Yeh, Jung-Chung.
