《淮南子》氣論及其天人感應思想

Qi-Theory and the Interaction Theory between Heaven and Man from Huainanzi

摘要


「氣」的概念,早在先秦典籍即有記載,且指涉之義涵頗為繁複,但主要可歸納為天地之間的自然現象及人的生命之生理現象。《淮南子》一書對於先秦氣論有所繼承與轉化,本書在「天地自然之氣」方面,豐富了氣化宇宙論的內涵;在「人身之氣」方面,則重視形、氣、神的結合,由血氣的調養、修練,以轉化為「精氣」。人身的精誠之氣又可與天地的「和氣」互通,達到天人相感的境界。《淮南子》以「氣」作為天人相感的重要溝通橋梁,使得天人合一之說更具體,且更具可把握與可操作性,皆為此書氣論的重要論點之所在。

Although ever concerned in pre-Qin books with multiple meaning, the concept of Qi is primarily used to explain the natural phenomena and physiology of human body. On the basis of Qi-theory of pre-Qin period, Huainanzi enchanced the contents of Qigenic cosmology and explain how the human body works. Huainanzi suggest that, by moderately regulating of Qi and blood, exercising accompanying mediation, people could unify the body material, Qi and spirit into one harmonic state. Anyone with this harmonic state, also called the state with excellent vital essence, could communicate with the Qi of nature. Huainanzi regarded Qi as a communicating bridge between Heaven and man. In this thesis, how Huainanzi build the interaction theory between Heaven and man more substantially and easier to handle is studied.
