Preliminary Evaluation of Exercise to Liver Function Variations of Anti-Viral Therapies Received B Hepatitis Patients

Purpose This study was a preliminary evaluation of moderate intensity exercise to liver function variations of B hepatitis patients who received anti-viral therapies. Method: Five B hepatitis patients, three males and two females, without heart and lung diseases volunteered to undergo anti-viral therapies. Each of them accepted a 30-mm bicycling training to reach heart rate reserve between 50-60%. To analyze the indicators of liver function, blood samples were drawn before training (T1) and five minutes after training (T2). Results: The values of ALT, AST at T1 and T2 showed no significant differences. Conclusion: Moderate intensity exercise has no effects to those who have anti-viral therapies B hepatitis patients.
