電腦工作站的文件位置與人體工學鍵盤使用效益評估

An Evaluation of Ergonomic Keyboards and Text Positions in computer Work Stations

摘要


本文旨在討探文獻上電腦工作站螢幕、鍵盤、與文件位置的設計原則,同時描述一個評估文件架位置與人體工學鍵盤使用效益的實驗。實驗目的在於探討利用電腦工作站處理文書作業時,文件架應置於何處,較利於使用者發揮效率及減低疲勞,實驗中並比較國內現行二種人體工學鍵盤與傳統鍵盤的效益。結果顯示,對於觸覺式打字法的使用者,使用人體工學鍵盤時,手/腕部疲勞的感覺較傳統鍵盤低,在打字速度與錯誤率上,人體工學鍵盤與傳統鍵盤則無顯著差異。文件架放置於使用者正前方,緊靠著擺置於右前方之螢幕,則有助於打字錯誤率的減少,與眼睛疲勞度的降低。

This paper reviews some studies in the design of the display, keyboard, and text locations in typing tasks using a computer work station. A laboratory study to evaluate the effects of ergonomic keyboards and text locations on the typing performance and wrist fatigue was conducted and its results presented. It was found that subjective ratings of the wrist fatigue were significantly lower in ergonomic keyboards than in the traditional one for touch tying users. The typing error rates and speeds were not significantly different between ergonomic keyboards and the traditional one. Although the text locations were not significant in the study, placing the text material in front of the user and the display unit to the right of the text has been found to significantly decrease the typing error rate and reduce the eye fatigue.
