本研究旨在瞭解資優教育對於數理資優者成就表現的影響,以十位高中數理資優班之畢業生爲研究對象,研究者以半結構式訪談方式瞭解影響他們成就表現的學校因素,並探究協助資優生發展潛能的重要策略,研究結果獲致如下:研究對象肯定高中數理資優班的學習經驗,學校提供多元的學習環境、營造良好的讀書風氣、重視問題解決能力的培養、師長們對他們的支持與鼓勵、提供高層次問題解決與綜合分析能力的訓練、以及良師的指引等對於他們數理領域的啟發有正面的影響。受訪者針對資優教育提出的建議分別是:教師與家長應培養學生獨立自主、主動積極的學習態度、培養學生的抗壓性、鼓勵學生勇於嘗試、培養他們創造性與生產性的表現,並且透過實際的操作課程提升學生學習成效。此外,應重視資優生情意方面的輔導,讓學生了解自己的潛能,進而肯定自己,欣賞異己,增進團隊合作的精神。依據結論,研究者針對學校及教育相關人員提出若干建議。
The main purpose of this study was to understand the influence of gifted education on the achievement of the math and science gifted senior high graduates. Semi-structure interview was used in this study. The major findings were as follows: All subjects benefited from the gifted programs that they had participated in. They reported that schools had special arrangements for them such as providing challenging curriculum, creating better learning atmosphere, promoting their problem-solving skills, and arranging more enthusiastic teachers for them. The subjects realized that high school learning experiences had positive influence on their achievements. The subjects also provided several suggestions for educational agencies, teachers, and parents. According to the results, the researcher proposed some suggestions for school and educational guidance.
