The female inmates are often a group of forgotten part due to the majority of prison research focusing upon male prisoners. The research outcomes are often unable to generalize to female inmates and their prison settings. However female inmates always face challenges and predicaments in prison. Also, the particular types of prison subcultures among female inmates may well be developed. The most obvious types of subculture are homosexuality, pseudo-families and interpersonal relationship. This study includes a total of 15 female inmates from a female prison in Taiwan. The research method engaged in an in-depth, semi-structured qualitative approach. Throughout the course of this study, these women voiced a number of homosexual motivations and popularity, make-believe, and kinship. The findings reveal that the sole sex environment could easily lead to homosexuality development. The participants' homosexual attitudes divide into game playing, economic manipulation and loneliness. Pseudo-families may come from an economic factor and have the characteristics of polite name and rank. In Final, interpersonal relationship can be divided into five categories: untrust to other people, thinking in one way and behaving in another, developing surface harmony, making a very small number of friends and doing their good time.
