Gastric dysplasia is a kind of benign/malignant borderline lesion. Such lesions might be essentially premalignant or malignant. When a gastric lesion is microscopically diagnosed as “gastric dysplasia” and when an aged patient who is a high surgical risk encounters with such a lesion, in stead of observing the lesion aimlessly or resected the stomach too aggressively by conventional subtotal gastrectomy. Endoscopic mucosal resection is a good alternative for both more detailed diagnosis and rational management. We report two cases of gastric dysplasia were successfully treated with endoscopic mucosal resection.
