藝術家與設計師的對話-文化創意商品的設計溝通策略

A Dialogue between the Artist and the Designer-The communication strategy of Cultural-creative Products Design

摘要


藝術家與設計師所持的目的不同,藝術家追求美的反思與創作的價值,設計師為目的性的服務追求合理的解決方案,但兩者都是追求創意的表現。然而藝術在個人內化的浪漫精神轉化到符合大眾美學品味的商品化過程中,設計在其中變扮演了積極和重要的角色。文創商品在知識的轉化和加值的同時,藝術的感性碰到設計的理性,設計團隊在商品的開發上往往會碰到許多邏輯上的困難。因此,本研究試圖尋找出一套能解決此問題的設計溝通方式,進而讓商品在開發的過程中,設計師和藝術家之間能達到充分的溝通和理解。故本研究提出三個面向來探討:一、藝術加值商品的發展現況。二、藝術加值商品發展的設計困境。三、發展設計團隊的溝通策略。在研究方法上,使用文獻探討、內容分析、案例調查、深入訪談等方法進行資料分析與檢視。在研究步驟上,以調查近年來市場上藝術加值商品,蒐集其相關資料並分析其商品的藝術加值與設計加值過程,並做成問卷對其風格和感質意象進行問卷調查,從而得到感質商品的五大核心之數據,並做成圖表進行內容分析(五力分析),最後並將其結果與專業設計師進行的深入訪談與建議進行比針和分析,試圖找出目前市場上藝術加值商品所發展的問題與可行策略。本研究成果試圖呈現藝術加值商品的開發技術和創意整合上所遭遇的問題,並提出兩點未來的發展可能的溝通策略建議:一、尋求品牌與藝術的跨界合作,二、建立以設計中心的溝通平台。未來在研究上希望能透過本研究的初步探究,整合藝術與創意設計,促進文化降產業的發展,為未來的藝術加值商品尋求可行性的設計策略方案。

Although both are aiming at the same goal - a presentation of creativity, between an artist and a designer, each has his own initial purpose in their creative process: an artist pursues an investigation into beauty and the value of art while a designer seeks appropriate solutions as a service. Nonetheless, in the ”metamorphosis” of art, in which it changes from Purely personal and internal appreciations into a product that has to meet public aesthetics, design plays a critical role throughout the course. In this course of transformation and value-adding process- when an artist's sensibility meets a designer's sense- it is not uncommon that the design team would encounter some fundamental difficulties when developing a product. Therefore the objective of this research is to seek effective communicative strategies so that the designer and the artist can reach a full understanding of each other. The research proposes three aspects for further discussion: a) the status quo of artistically value-added products, b) the difficulties in designing artistically value-added products, and c) the communicative strategies of the product-development team. As for methodologies, the research employs literature review, content analysis, case study and in-depth interview. Firstly, the research revisits successful cases of collaboration between artists and designers. Secondly, interviews with senior artists and designers are conducted while questionnaires and records on artistically value-added are analyzed. The goal is to observe, analyze and conclude the difficulties in the process of integrating technical development and creative forces, so as to figure out appropriate communicative strategies in design. In the future, the research looks forward to integrating art and design, promoting the cultural industry in Taiwan, and seeking more possibilities in designing artistically value-added products.
