CPU冷卻系統之作動式隧道型散熱座技術

An Innovative Active Liquid Heat Sink Technology for CPU Cooling System

摘要


本文提出並敘述創新CPU冷卻系統之作動式隧道型散熱座(Active-Liquid-Heat-Sink,簡稱ALHS)技術。主要的概念及設計基礎,是將作動式液體散熱座技術應用於內置型CPU液體冷卻系統。 本系統整體更加小巧緊湊,成本更加低廉,重量更輕,安裝方便。此外,本系統冷卻空氣導向更加合理;系統運行更加可靠。由於採用磁耦合無軸傳動技術,冷卻液體被限制在完全封閉的空間,因此解決了流體洩漏問題。安裝於散熱座内的幫浦葉輪產生攪拌效應,大大增強對流傳熱。透過與美國ASTM-5470D標準符合的LW-9091CPU測試儀,對比實驗結果證實本系統具有較佳散熱效率。

This paper presents the development of an active-liquid-heat-sink (ALHS) system for microprocessor cooling, using modern engineering and manufacturing technologies such as CAD, CAE, CAM and RP. Principal concepts, basic design, fabrication process and the integration of the ALHS technology into an internal CPU liquid cooling system are discussed. Experimental verifications have been done and adequate working conditions as well as the system performance trends are shown graphically. Comparison between a commercial air cooling system, a commercial heat-pipe system as well as a commercial internal liquid cooling system was made, the results are satisfactory.
