水潤滑下奈米碳管/聚苯乙烯奈米複材之摩擦與磨耗性質

Friction and Wear of Nano-Carbon-Nanotube/Polystyrene Composites under Water Lubrication

摘要


本論文將高分子材料聚苯乙烯(PS)與多層奈米碳管(MWNTS)混合而成奈米複合材料,將試片於磨耗試驗機上以柱-盤法進行耐磨耗測驗,觀察在不同壓力與滑動速度條件下之磨耗率與磨耗深度。發現加入潤滑液可以減少摩擦力;滑動速度提高時摩擦力有減小的現象。在磨耗率方面,5%CNT試片比0%CNT試片的抗磨耗性增加很多,磨耗深度都較小,在乾磨耗下,抗磨耗性提升了56.4%,在濕磨耗下,抗磨耗性提升了88.61%。

In the paper, the polystyrene and multi-walled carbon nano-tubes are mixed to make nano-composites. The pin-on-disk tribometer is used to detect the friction coefficient, wear rate, and wear depth under different pressures and sliding speeds. Adding water can reduce the friction force. Enhancing the sliding speed can also sooth the friction. Both the wear rate and wear depth of the sample after adding the carbon nano-tubes are decreased. After adding carbon nano-tubes to the matrix material, the wear resistance is promoted up to 56.4% and 88.6% under dry and wet lubrication, respectively.
