The purpose of this study is to bring up a feasible design model of information technology integrated instruction and to estimate the effects and difficulties. First, we bring up a design model of information technology integrated instruction by consulting the Instructional System Design models and the experiences of teaching. Then we take the unit ”the World Geographic Environment” as an example and design teaching activities. We divide Taipei city into three parts: northern, middle, and southern. From each region we select one elementary school to go on our study. We use questionnaires and interviews to search and collect the ideas of the teachers and students. The result shows that the teachers and the students generally agree that the experimental teaching could improve the effect of learning. Finally, we point out the difficulties in information technology integrated instruction and provide the suggestions to deal with them.
