安平海岸淺灘生態效果評估之研究

Evaluating the Ecological Effect on the Shallow Water Zone of An-Ping Seashore

摘要


沿岸海域一直是生物重要的棲地,並且提供像底棲生物或附著生物相當高的基礎生產。同時也是人類作為港阜、產業、漁業、休憩等活動區域。過去在台灣的海岸工法施作中,對於生態方面的評估仍然十分缺乏。在台南安平海岸,高雄港務局欲於此區加入生態機能之工法,進行研發人工養灘及島堤之生態復育技術。因此本研究以安平商港北堤至漁港南堤之間人工養灘區作為研究區域,於2003年5月至2004年1 月,依季節進行底棲生物及附著生物之生態監測調查,並利用多樣性指數、相關分析及底棲生物整合指標法進行分析評估,藉以瞭解該區域在不同環境條件下底棲生物分佈以及其與消波塊群與其週遭環境之相關性。結果顯示:(1)底棲生物及附著生物皆可反映海岸淺灘生態環境的生態現況,適合作為生物指標。(2)應用底棲生物整合指標法進行整體性的環境影響評估之探討,並以此作為分析人工養灘生態效果之參考依據。

Coastal zones are important habitats to fauna, having a primary production for offering such as benthos and sessile organisms. At the same time, coastal zones have been developed for utilizations as ports, industries, fisheries, recreation, and other activities of human beings. In the past time, it was fairly lack of ecological evaluation about the performance of the coastal and ocean engineering. The coast area from the north dike of An-Ping commercial harbor to the south dike of An-ping fishery harbor has been planned to be an artificial shallow water zone by the Port of Kaohsiung, and to develop and study how to introduce techniques of ecological concepts. So that, in this study we will investigate the abundance and distribution of benthos and sessile organisms, dating from May 2003 to January 2004, and evaluate the ecological effects of the whole areas, especially on the constructions of seashore works. To understand the relationships between the benthos, sessile organisms and the constructions of artificial shallow water zone, the performance of the Benthic Index of Biotic Integrity (B-IBI) was used to analysis the ecological status. The achievements are hoped to provide a useful consultation for other artificial shallow water zone works in the future.
