高溫超導氧化物物理特性之研究

Physical Properties of High T(subscript C) Oxide Superconductors

本研究是探討La1.85Sr0.15Cu0.95M0.05O(下標 4-y)與Y1.2Ba0.8Cu0.95M0.05O(下標 4-y)超導氧化物的電阻及電流-電壓特性,其中M代表銅、銀、鋁。各樣品間以相同製備條件來作比較。實驗結果顯示出加入少許的銀,則超導氧化物系之超導臨界溫度TC降了好幾度K;然而其超導臨界電流密度JC比僅含銅的超導氧化物系提升了好幾倍。加入少許的鋁,則臨界溫度與臨界電流密度都減少。TC的減少效應暗示銀和鋁表現得像是雜質。銅氧化物掺雜銀提升JC之情況,表明銀雜質以某種方式增加銅氧化物之超導相。

We study the electrical resistance and the I-V characteristic of La1.85Sr0.15Cu0.95M0.05O(subscript 4-y) and Y1.2Ba0.8Cu0.95M0.05O(subscript 4-y) Superconductors, where M = Cu, Ag and Al. Comparisons are made between samples with the same preparation conditions. Our results show that in the system with a small amount of Ag the superconducting critical temperature TC is decreased by a few degree Kelvin; however, the superconducting critical current density JC is enhanced at least several times larger than that of the system with Cu only. For the system with a small amount of Al, both critical temperature and critical current density are decreased. The TC decrease effect suggests that Ag and Al behave like impurities. The enhanced JC behavior in Cu oxides is somehow increased by the Ag impurities.
