Chinese sailing ships had been the most active ships sailing around Eastern Asia during the 15(superscript th) century; however, in the past, official documentations about sailing records were rarely common. This study aims to clarify the sailing records during this time and to find relative data, especially records of envoys sent from Ryukyu and sailing records of ships in the late Ming Dynasty. It is hoped that this study can further our understanding of Chinese shipwrecks and reveal their sailing during the Qing Dynasty.
