九到十一世紀西歐經濟復興原因之探討

On the Causes of Economic Recovery in Western Europe from the 9th to 11th Century

摘要

眾所皆知，從9到11世紀乃是西歐經濟的再度復興期，本文的主要目的就是想分析究竟在這段時期，西歐地區是如何從經濟的殘破再度走向復興的道路。為此，本文研究主要集中在三個部分：首先說明的是第一次羅馬時期經濟貿易繁榮的樣貌，接著再簡述帝國經濟為何走向衰弱，以及這時期代表西歐經濟的墨洛溫王朝及加洛琳王朝的經濟狀況。最後即是本文的論述重心，它主要集中在兩個方面，其一：探討北歐諾曼民族的入侵，究竟對西歐地區帶來何種的經濟刺激，是正面抑或負面的？其二：西歐地區的內部，因為北歐諾曼民族的影響所產生的經濟蛻變。另外，略帶一提的是，本文所指9到11世紀的西歐，約是在現今的法國、比利時、荷蘭，盧森堡、德國等地區。

As everyone knows, from the 9th to the 11th century, the Western European economy was in a period of recovery. The main purpose of this article is to analyze how during this period, the Western Europe region has gone from a broken economy to a road of recovery. To this end, the research in this paper is mainly focused on three parts: first, it explains the appearance of economic and trade prosperity in the first Roman Empire. Second, briefly describes briefly why the economy of empire weakened, and the West European economy during this period the economic situation of the Merovingian Dynasty and the Carolingian Dynasty.. The last point is the focus of this article. It mainly focuses on two aspects. First is: What kind of economic stimulus does the invasion of the Norsemen in northern Europe bring to Western Europe, whether it is positive or negative? Second: the internal transformation of the Western European region due to the influence of the Northmen in northern Europe. In addition, it is mentioned that Western Europe in the 9th to 11th centuries referred to in this article is about today in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany and other regions.
