The purposes of this study were to explore the current situation of role conflict for PE teachers in junior high schools. A questionnaire titled ”A study on role conflict of PE teachers in junior high schools” was distributed to 736 junior high school's PE teachers in Taiwan region. Based on questionnaires from 465 PE teachers, several conclusions made according to the research findings were: (1) At present, PE teachers in junior high schools feel that their role conflict was at middle level. (2) There were significant differences of the role conflict among PE teachers due to the differences from seniority and job title.
