Competitive tennis is an intermediate- to high-intensity exercise based on its characteristics of physiology and matches. In order to sustain tennis player bodies' functions and have enough energy during matches, it is suggested that the percentages of carbohydrate, fats, and protein out of daily calorie intake are 55%-70%, 20%-30%, and 15%-20% respectively. In addition, coaches and players should have right strategies in nutrition management so that players can have enough energy before matches, sustain bodies' functions during matches, and delay their suffering from fatigue. Besides, players can soon recover to face a bigger challenge tomorrow. Such nutrition management includes the frequency and the timing of having meals and the distribution of nutrition in diet which provide effective and appropriate nutrition supply before, during, and after training and matches.
