This study explores a pre-service teacher and an in-service teacher how to reconstruct their teachers' identities through the narrative inquiry. Main findings suggest that self-identity, work-identity, and professional identity of two early childhood teachers composed together their teacher identities. The core of the formation of teacher identity is the image of self. Via understanding children can urge teachers to continue becoming an early childhood teacher.
