摘要

《上海博物館藏戰國楚竹書（二）•容成氏》內容是講述上古帝王傳說。根據內容可分爲七節：第一節是容成氏至堯之前的有虞迵（約二十三位）；第二節是堯輔佐有虞迵至登帝位；第三節是講舜輔佐堯，登帝位，畫天下爲九州之事；第四節是講舜讓位於禹，禹製旗號、建鼓聽訊之事；第五節是講禹讓(特殊字略)陶、益，啓攻益自取而登帝位，十六世至桀，無道，湯貢伊尹爲間，以亂夏政，遂滅夏桀；第六節是講湯三十一是傳至紂，無道，作爲炮格、酒池，文王佐之；第七節是講周武王伐紂。全文闡明夏禹以前接受賢不授子，對古史空白的塡補有相當程度的助益。

Collected by Shanghai Museum Chu Bamboo slips manuscripts of (Part II) Rong Cheng's indicates its contents for the ancient legend of the emperors that can be divided into seven parts: the first part of the record on You Yu Dung who comes after Rong Cheng's to Yao (about twenty three emperors); the Second part of the record on Yao who assisted You Yu Dung to be an emperor; the third part of the record on Shun who assisted Yao to be an emperor who also divided the whole world into nine states; the fourth part of the record on Shun transferred his emperorship to Yu. Yu designed flags and drums in order to send information; the fifth part of the record on Yu transferred his emperorship to Gau Tau, Yi, Chi attacked Yi and then be an emperor himself. From the sixteenth emperor to Jin, without any principals, then Tang sent Ii as a spy to interrupt Xia's administration, gradually eliminated Xia Jie; the sixth part of the record on Tang who descendedhis kingdom for 31 generations to Zuo, again didn't follow any principals, but did receive severe punishments for his enemy who ”burned on the gun” and enjoyed his pool of wine. Then King Wen assisted Zuo to be an emperor himself; the seventh part of the record on King Wu who fought against King Zuo. The whole record exposited the kingships only fit for the able one but not for their own children. Moreover, there are lots of anecdotes to fill in the missing lines in the ancient history.
