After oral cancers surgeries, it is difficult and challenge to reconstruct throughand- through defects of cheek, particularly when lower lip and oral commissure were also involved, The ideal reconstruction of such defects should replace external skin, mucosal lining and labial sulcus and maintain adequate speaking and swallowing function, The submental island flap has gained popularity as a technique for small to moderate-sized oral cavity defects because it is simple to perform Here, we present a case using folded submental island flap to reconstruct such kind of defect and also review previous literatures.
