脊髓損傷者生涯輔導團體之行動研究

The Action Research of Career-Guidance Program for Persons with Spinal Cord Injury

摘要


本研究採用行動研究方式,透過不斷省思、調整的過程,目標在能發展出適用於脊髓損傷者之生涯輔導方案,協助脊髓損傷者重新面對自我及規劃未來,減少個體對未來道路的茫然與困惑,此外,透過內容分析,發現影響脊髓損傷者在生涯發展中的重要影響因子,增加專業洞察力,並提昇團體領導者的專業實務。本研究的主要研究目的有四:(一)發展出適用於脊髓損傷者認識自我,肯定自我潛能、並接納自己的限制的適當生涯輔導團體方案;(二)檢視團體歷程中輔導員所面臨的困境及因應策略;(三)了解脊髓損傷者在生涯決定中的重要影響因素;以及(四)分析團員在生涯輔導中的成效及轉變歷程。研究結果發展出一生涯團體輔導的概念圖,並發現與脊髓損傷者生涯發展有關的影響因子,其中正向因子包含有自我概念、家庭互動、外在環境與就業資源,有關的自我概念的內涵包含有獨立生活能力、正向信念、價值觀、及正向行爲觀點等;在家庭支持、及社會資源之面向則有具體的分析並發現爲脊髓損傷者心理復原的重要推手。研究結果亦發現相關的生涯阻隔因素,如挫敗經驗、個人因素及政策法令等;其中個人因素則包含非理性信念、無可轉移技能、對未來就業負向之態度等;在政策法令部分,如何增進就業資訊的流通、以及對政策法令與現實之衝突,有重要討論;對團體領導者而言,領導者的專業能力透過不斷的省思與行動的循環過程,在帶領技巧上及團體規劃上皆有積極正向的啟發;此外,對未來團體的規劃、相關單位、及未來研究方向亦提出具體建議。

In order to help the persons with spinal cord injury to re-adjust their new career life, the study adopted action research method to develop a group career-guidance program for persons with spinal cord injury. The purpose of this research included: (1) to develop a group career- guidance program for helping the acceptance of the limitation and enhance self-concepts for persons with spinal cord injury; (2) to express the problems in the group process and the strategies to work it out; (3) to figure out the factors that affect their career decision; and (4) to analysis he effect the changing process of the group members. The research project worked out a concept- map of career guidance group for persons with spinal cord injury. The results of this study also showed several factors that influenced the career development and decision of persons with spinal cord injury. The positive factors included self-concept, family interaction, and the environmental factors. The self-concepts of persons with spinal cord injury were different from others, especially in the area of independent living abilities, the values and beliefs, positive behaviors, and so on. Besides, family support and social resource played important roles on their career development. Some negative factors influencing their career development included frustration experience, personal factors, and social policy. For the group leaders, with action, reflection, and reaction, the skills for leading the group and the abilities to design career-guidance program were showed great improvement. Recommendations for group leaders, government, and others are offered concerning the implications of these findings for developing career-guidance program and further research.
