台灣醫療與生活類型雜誌封面設計之研究-以康健雜誌爲例

摘要


根據行政院新聞局《96年台灣雜誌出版產業調查研究》發現,台灣正常運作的雜誌出版廠商計有304家業者,所發行的雜誌共計497種之多。因此各個書店的書架上滿滿都是各種形形色色的雜誌。數以百計的雜誌彼此在書架上爭奇鬥豔,期待能爭搶著到消費者的目光。封面設計除了要傳達雜誌精神、流行訊息外,最重要的就是要吸引消費者的目光!當讀者被封面吸引而拿起雜誌後,雜誌所欲傳達的封面故事與內文訊息才有傳達的機會。所以封面設計的最終目的就是要快速引起消費者注意。因此封面是雜誌銷售的主要工具,也是雜誌建立形象並吸引消費者購買的重要因素。本研究先透過文獻探討的方式,來歸納學者對於封面設計所提出的各種觀點。並依循學者的觀點以康健雜誌作為研究對象,分析與歸納封面設計相關元素的變化,並與學者的理論兩相比較來找尋封面設計原則。期待本研究能提供雜誌出版業主管、美術編輯人員,文字編輯人員與攝影人員提供一個更為精準的參考指標。

According to the findings of ”Researches on The Publication Industry in Taiwan in Year 2007” by Government Information Office, Republic of China, there are 304 magazine publishing companies who were functioning well in Taiwan, and the magazines published amounted to 497 copies. Therefore, there are various magazines available on the bookshelf in every bookstore. Hundreds of magazines are presented on the bookshelf with the expectation of attracting the consumer's attentions. The cover page design is aimed to attract the reader's attentions, in addition to delivering the spirit of the magazine and the messages. When the attentions is attracted by the cover page design of the magazine, and pick up the magazine, there comes the opportunity of delivering the desired messages of the cover story to the reader. The ultimate purpose of the cover page design is to attract the reader's attention quickly. Therefore, cover page is the main tool in selling magazines and also the tool in building the image of the magazine and attracting the reader's attentions. The research here will first focus on the literacy research and to summarize the perspectives brought out by scholars on cover page design. And Common Health Magazine will be taken as an example to exam and to compare with the mentioned perspectives. And the key elements in the cover page design will be proposed. It is expected that this research can bring out some precise references for the manager, the art editor, the content editor and photographers in the magazine publishing industry.
