More than 90% of colleges and academic institutes have finished the establishment and the launch of school-wide e-learning platforms in Taiwan. Approximate 85% of them chose to use e-learning products designed by the companies of the industries directly. Others adopted products that incorporated the teaching materials and contents from the school teachers with the technical support from e-learning professionals. Thus, it is the common decision that the customized products or products developed by e-learning professionals are essential among colleges and academic institutes. As a result, the main purpose of this study is to probe into the competency that an e-learning professional in the related project should have while the school performs the e-learning process. The result of this thesis can be served as a reference for colleges and academic institutes when trying to find out the proper team for the project.
