傳播典範轉移下 數位出版編輯職能概念之重塑

Reshaping the Concept of Competence for Digital Publishing Editors under the Communication Paradigm Shift

摘要


在傳播典範轉移下,全時化、非線性以及互動性概念隨之興起。出版產業在邁入數位化紀元後,賦予編輯職能新內涵,促使編輯力再進化,已刻不容緩。本研究乃欲重塑編輯職能之概念,並探討編輯職能概念間之關係,進而建立編輯職能概念關係網路。本研究以質性研究法透過文獻探討和專家訪談建立初始文件,並運用質性分析軟體ATLAS.ti編碼,探討節點及其相互關係,以找出這些概念間的關係,獲致在傳播典範轉移下,數位出版編輯職能概念間之關係主要有因果、遞移以及相關三種概念關係。在因果關係方面,發現內容端是數位出版價值網的源頭,回饋端則雖為數位出版價值網之末端,卻是下一個內容端迴路的開始。尤其因為傳播典範之轉移,寬口徑的能力更成為編輯職能新典範,最終之目標在於創造「編讀合一」的新境界。在遞移關係方面,獲致全時非線性內容、多媒體互動內容屬於內容端之編輯職能,而內容端為數位出版價值網之一環,因此,全時非線性內容、多媒體互動內容係構成數位出版價值網編輯職能之主要概念。另外,在相關性方面,獲致全時非線性內容、多媒體互動內容、管理資料庫內容、產消合一新內容等12項相關之數位出版編輯職能概念,顯示數位出版時代的編輯必須具備「大編輯」的概念和「寬口徑」的能力。本研究所獲致之數位出版編輯職能及其概念間之關係、數位出版編輯職能概念關係網路,將可作為政府機關、產業甄選人才的評選、教育界培育人才之課程規劃的依據等,以期喚起數位出版產業界的注意,並敦促後續相關研究之進行。

The purposes of this study were threefold: (1) understand the concept of editorial competences, (2) explore the concepts and relationships among various editing competences and (3) set up conceptual competence network for editing functions. Key elements of the study included the followings: (1) conduct literature review and interview, understand and define the concept of editorial competences, then use ATLAS. ti qualitative analysis software to analyze the interview results; (2) explore the relationship structures among the conceptual competences for digital publishing editors and (3) finalize the conceptual competence network for digital publishing editors. The research concluded that there were 3 kinds of relationships of competences for editor who works in the digital publishing areas, finding the relationship structures among the conceptual competences for digital publishing editors such as ”is cause of”, ”is a” or ”is associate with” were used to describe. Besides this, 12 items related to concept of competences for editors were also found, for example upgrading the content all the time with the newest development of issues, editing the page layout with non-linear thinking were critical to the digital publishing. Editor in the digital publishing era must have the concept of the ”big editing” and ”wide caliber” competences. The conclusions of this research were the formation of the concept of editing competences for Digital Publishing, the development of a structural relationship among editing competences for Digital Publishing and the construction of a conceptual Competence Network for Digital Publishing Editors. The studied results could also be a practical guideline for employee requisitions as well as a meaningful reference for talents training and education course planning in the Digital Publishing field. Future related research studied are also urged and recommended.
