Infection Control in the Chinese Medicine Hospital

摘要

中醫醫療院所執行中醫相關醫療業務，如針灸、放血、拔罐、正骨、把脈等業務，都會造成院內感染的發生。所以中醫師有責任認識並瞭解院內感染控制的重要性，以提高醫療品質造福廣大病患。本文就感染管制歷史、院內感染定義、影響、目的、造成主因，與院內感染控制的相關行政事項做一個簡略的介紹。
由國內外經驗得知：洗手是預防院內感染最有效、最經濟、最簡單的管制措施。世界衛生組織已發表手部衛生指引，衛生署疾病管制局亦參考此指引制定國內手部衛生指引。本文並就洗手設備、時機、方法（洗手劑與清水），手部清潔用品種類，使用乾式洗手液的好處等一一說明。要強調的是洗手常會忽略的地方：大拇指、指尖、指縫等處，希望對中醫師診務有幫助。

The internal infection might be occurred in the Chinese Medicine hospital due to the treatments such as the acupuncture, bloodletting, draw pot, boneset, feeling pulse etc. So the Chinese Medicine doctor has the responsibility to know and understand the importance of internal infection control, in order to improve the medical quality and benefit vast patients. This paper briefly introduces the control history, definition, influence, purpose, cause, and the relevant administrative item of internal infection in the hospital.
Learnt by the domestic and international experience, it is found that washing hands is the most effective, economic, simplest way to prevent and control the internal infection in the hospital. World Health Organization has issued a hand hygiene guide. The Disease Control Bureau of National Health Administration also consults this to assemble a domestic hand hygiene guide. This paper describes hand washing equipment, timing, method (the hand lotion and fresh water), hand cleaning articles, and the advantage of dry type hand washing liquid etc. That should emphasize the place which is easy to be neglected, such as thumb, finger tip, and finger gap etc. It is hoped that it will be helpful to the work of Chinese medicine doctor.
