摘要

中高齡使用者在使用手機時，使用說明書常無法發揮功用，需要親人與店員的協助來學習手機的功能。本研究要探討的問題是爲什麼現有的使用說明，不能夠幫助中高齡者正確的操作手機。本研究所提出的改良式使用說明，特點包含海報拉頁呈現、循環目錄圖示、完整的過程說明、圖文呼應的介面說明。實驗結果證明改良後的使用說明吸引較多使用者觀看，而操作錯誤及停滯的機率減少，因此本研究成果提供具使用性的手機使用說明，可以幫助手機的人機互動，進而增進福祉設計。

When facing the popular mobile phone in the modem society, the elderly users of mobile phone often need the assistances of relatives or salesmen, and the user manual often could not function well to provide help. The research problem was why the current user manual could not help the elderly user to operate the mobile phone properly. A modified version of user manual was proposed. The features included a poster layout, a cyclic menu figure, a complete operational process, and an interface explanation with both texts and figures. The experimental results showed that the modified user manual attracted more users to read, and thus help reduce errors and hindrances of operation. The modified user manual that followed the rules of mental model could help the interaction of I-WI of mobile phone and further provide welfare design.
