There is sufficient nutrition in Taiwan area presently. The age of first month cycle of young girl has the tendency which shifts to an earlier time year by year. As for the physical educational class (PEC), usually needs more physical strengths to participate in the study. In front of female monthly period, physical educational teachers (PET) whether have the enough related menstrual knowledge to give a correct and entire attitude and vision on physical education class to the student is this research concerned. Therefore the purpose of this study selectes PETs as this research subjects, and carries on the questionnaire survey to assess the understanding of related menstrual knowledge among all levels of PETs. The results shows that all PET have better scores in basic knowledge and psychological and physiological phenomenon. However, it is not sufficient understanding on female reproductive organs and menstruation and ovulation related physiology knowledge. Further classifies the PET, the result demonstrates all levels of male PETs have worse scores on related reproductive organ, menstruation and ovulation knowledge than female PETs, and has the significance difference (p<.05). Comparing among all levels of teachers, university’s PETs get the lowest scores, then high school PETs, then junior high PETs, and finally elementary PETs, and has the significance difference (p<.05). The conclusion of this research is that PEC must face all both sexes to attend class, and the male PETs must base on the equal rights and the female physiology's difference to teach. Therefore, PETs should strengthen themselves related menstrual knowledge, and gives the students a correct and entire attitude to physical education class when there are in monthly period.
