There is increasing number of adults searching for orthodontic treatment to treat their malocclusion. Adults are usually cooperative and appreciative of the clinician's effort. However, they may have problems other than just mal-posed teeth and mal-jaw-relationship that make their orthodontic treatment more challenging. They may have old and failing restorations, missing teeth, abraded teeth, periodontal problem, gingival level discrepancies, and a variety of problems that would compromise the treatment result. A team of orthodontist, oral surgeon, periodontist and restorative dentist must interact together to make prudent treatment decisions for these compromised cases. Establish realistic treatment objectives that will fit the patient's needs, desires, financial capabilities, and the goals of the team members are more important for these patients. In this case report, we present a 27-year-old male patient receiving interdisciplinary treatment to improve the appearance of his face and to reestablish his chewing function within 30 months.
