中風患者之全口重建及口腔照護-病例報告

Full Mouth Rehabilitation and Oral Health Care of a Stroke Patient - A Case Report

摘要


中風(stroke),又稱作腦血管意外(cerebrovascular accident,簡稱CVA),為一腦部血氧供應阻斷造成之神經系統疾病,分為缺血性腦中風及出血性腦中風兩種類型。不論是缺血性或是出血性腦中風都會造成腦功能異常,進而影響牙科治療的進行。本案例為一68歲男性,患有高血壓及缺血性腦中風合併左側偏癱,因左上側門牙牙痛至門診就診,後續於門診完成全重建及口腔照護。本文討論中風患者牙科治療之注意事項及口腔清潔維護之方式。

Stroke (also called cerebrovascular accident, CVA) is a neurologic event caused by sudden interruption of oxygenated blood to the brain divided into two types: ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. No matter ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke lead to abnormal brain function which may further affect dental management. This report presents a 68 years old male with the history of hypertension and ischemic stroke who came to our OPD due to pain of tooth 22 and then finished full mouth rehabilitation and oral health care. Considerations of dental management and oral health care of stroke patients are discussed in this article.
