Proactivity, speed, versatility are reinforced in modern badminton. Consequently, players have to keep pursuing higher speed and stronger strength to go beyond self-limit. Especially, enhancing physical stamina is the foundation for skills development; either singles players or doubles players are required to be equipped with outstanding sport-specific strength in order to excel in contests. The relevant researches indicate that the training programs focusing on speed, strength, and agility are a must to develop competitive badminton players. This study proposes the training methods in developing badminton players in terms of speed, strength, and agility as a referral of future training plans to both athletes and coaches.
