「運動英雄」的形塑要素─神話學觀點

從神話到歷史的交疊迄今，「運動英雄（sport hero）」一直是所有運動員的集體之夢。本文從運動員冠以「英雄」之名的意蘊加以分析，異於主流的媒體論述，採取神話學（Mythology）的研究路徑，探究形塑「運動英雄」的三個要素：即1.內容（contents）──宗教與戰爭；2.形式（forms）──展演模式與運動歷程；3.主體（subjects）──空間、時間與數目的神話意識。再者，對應於上述的神格化（mythicize）詮釋，提出神話內容的淡薄、神話形式的變異、神話意識的轉向，以及「解神話（demythologize）」的透視等，作為說明「運動英雄」的消逝根基，進而獲得實踐「英雄之旅」的哲學性反思。

Myth overlaps history so far, ”sport hero” has been a collective dream of all athletes. Difference from the discussion of media, this article analyzes the meaning about that why we dubs athlete a ”hero”, taking the path of mythology to explore the three elements of shaping the ”sport hero”: 1.Contents: religion and war; 2.Forms: performance pattern and sport course; 3.Subjects: mythical consciousness about space, time and number. Furthermore, correspond to the above interpretation by mythicizing, we can find the mythical contents weak, mythical forms variational, mythical consciousness shifted, and insightful ”demythologize”. All of these can state the demise of the ”sport hero”. Then the philosophical reflection of ”the hero's journey” would be attained.
