新移民子女在優先入園政策下的語言與數學學習歷程之研究

A Study on the Language and Mathematics Leaning Process of Immigrant Children through the Policy of Priority to Go to Kindergarten

摘要


台灣少子化的趨勢,形成每年新出生嬰兒數日益銳減的局面,然而新移民子女的出生率卻不減反升,加上隨著新移民抵台時間越來越久,其第二代子女已陸續進入學校教育系統就讀。目前新移民子女相關研究衆多,其中已有許多研究證明其會面臨教育弱勢及其相關問題。在新移民子女人數攀升,其教育弱勢問題應得到及早補償教育系統支援之際,政府特別將新移民子女納入一優先入園政策中。本研究期望能夠藉由文獻探討、個案觀察與訪談過程,瞭解5歲新移民子女藉由優先入園政策進入學前機構就讀後,在語言與數學方面學習表現狀況,最後藉由新移民子女優先入園後的表現及進步狀況,提供政府未來在制定新移民子女教育政策時參考依據,及業者經營管理方針。研究結果顯示新移民子女在經過提早進入學前機構就讀後,其在語言與數學方面皆有正向的發展,對於其日後教育體制的銜接亦能發揮正面影響力。

With the growth of international marriages, the numbers of immigrant children in Taiwan have been sharply increased. Their learning results and cultural identity arouse attention by not only pubic government but also the private institutes. It is shown that the immigrant children do a good job in schools, but not all of studies shown the same result. Now we implement many educational programs for these children. However we don't implement these policies well, except academic guidance, routine discipline, and so on. In order to help those children, the government should do more. The immigrant children, 5 years old, have priority go to kindergartens or preschools. Based on the literature analysis from data of first hand and second hand, it helps to offer fundamental and theoretical guidelines for this research. The interview and observation are used in this research. From the information of literature analysis, interview, and observation, the conclusions are as following: it has proved the policy reliable, so the government should more educational chance to immigrant children, and so on.
