「樂高認真玩」策略促進幼兒學習之啟示

The Exploration of Lego Serious Play for Promoting Young Children's Learning

摘要


「創新教學」是當前幼教工作者的專業職能發展能力之ㄧ。其目的在吸引幼兒的學習樂趣、激發學習動機、融入持續的學習行為、最終產生最佳的學習效果。「樂高認真玩」(LSP)是幼兒教育中之一項創新教學策略,透過「創新的遊戲」方法幫助幼兒有效地學習,建立未來「帶著走」的能力。本文以「樂高認真玩」之理念為遊戲教學的哲思,設計教學策略。透過二所幼兒園進行為期3個月的「合作式行動研究」,以觀察記錄幼兒學習及訪談二位合作夥伴教師觀察LSP教學之反應等質性資料,進行研究分析。研究發現5點:(1)幼兒透過大量溝通與表達活動進行有效學習;(2)LEGO簡易的操作方法,是幼兒創作的關鍵;(3)手做心動—解決問題,促使幼兒知識建構;(4)幼兒容易從活動中建立學習策略,(5)幼兒能利用LSP「做及說故事」。作者從LSP策略中發展出「兒童樂高認真玩」策略及「締結關係→有意義的遊戲→討論及表達會議→持續遊戲活動」的循環教學步驟。本文希冀能提供幼兒教育工作者一項創新的教學策略及思考,有助於提昇幼兒學習的創意和成效。

Innovative instruction is a professional development capacity exhibited by current early childhood education staffs. Lego Serious Play (LSP) is an innovative instruction strategy in early childhood education, aiding young children in learning effectively and developing abilities that will be beneficial for them in the long term through innovative play. This study adopted LSP as the game-based teaching in the design of teaching strategies. A collaborative action research project of 3 months was conducted in two kindergartens. Subsequently, an analysis was made on the qualitative data collected, including observational records of young children's learning, and interviews with two participating teachers on their observation of LSP teaching effects. Five main results were identified as follows: (1) Young children learn effectively through substantial communication and expression activities. (2) The simple operation method of Lego is key to stimulate children's creation activities. (3) Playing lego is a problem-solving process that requires both hand movement and mental effort, and this activity aids young children in building their knowledge. (4) Playing Lego prompts young children to develop learning strategies through the activities. (5) Young children can easily make up and tell stories by using employ LSP. Therefore, the author developed the Children Lego Serious Play strategy and a set of cyclic teaching steps on the basis of the LSP strategies implementation, including concluding relationships, playing purposeful, and continuing to play. This study expects to offer an innovative teaching strategy and thinking mode for workers of young childhood education to facilitating enhancing the creativeness and effectiveness of young children's learning.
