鈮酸鋰二維非線性光子晶體之研製

Analysis and Fabrication of Two-Dimensional Nonlinear Photonic Crystals in Lithium Niobate

摘要


本篇的主要內容為二維非線性光子晶體的製作。利用接近鈮酸鋰居禮溫度的高溫處理所引發的表面淺層反轉,以及施加高壓電場的方式,成功地製作了週期為6.8μm的非線性光子晶體。以1,064nm的YAG雷射作為基頻光射入此晶體,可產生散射角約為0.8°的陣列綠光雷射輸出。

The efforts in this paper are mainly devoted to the realization of two-dimensional nonlinear photonic crystal in lithium niobate. Two methods to cause domain inversion are employed. One is through high temperature process near Curie temperature, and the other is by applying high electric field. By combining the two methods, samples with a period about 6.8 μm were fabricated. Second harmonic generation experiments performed with these samples produced arrayed green laser with diffraction angle about 0.8°。
