Quantum Optical Phenomena in Photonic Bandgap Crystals

摘要


光子晶體內不均勻的光子態密度分佈,可以產生許多有趣的光與物質間之交互作用。藉由將光場量子化,我們研究了光子晶體內二能階原子的暫態自發性輻射反應與穩態螢光光譜。

Due to the non-uniform distribution of the photonic density of states, the photon-atom interactions in photonic bandgap crystals exhibit many interesting phenomena. By quantizing the radiation fields, we study the transient spontaneous emission dynamics and the steady-state fluorescence spectra for a two-level atom in photonic bandgap crystals.
