In this study we proposed a dynamic driving parameters decision method for gray-scale cholesteric liquid crystal display using tiny time gap control. We have also developed a electro-optical measurement system for bistable cholesteric liquid crystal displays which could provide variable dynamic drive scheme and measure a series of R-V curves. Then we could decide the optimal dynamic driving parameters and use tiny Time Gap for switching gray-level of cholesteric liquid crystal displays.
