江戶時期的數學教育一隅－算學到場、和算教科書與數學專業化

Mathematics education in the Edo period – the wason school, the textbook of wasan and the professionalization of mathematics

摘要

本文中，筆者介紹重要的和算教育場所－算學道場，以及當時重要和算教師，說明十九世紀江戶時期的數學教育概況以及當時數學教育普及的情況。接著，分析重要的和算教科書－《算法新書》，以了解當時數學教材的主要內容與結構。最後，透過對和算教育概況的描繪、對時人的數學觀的探討，以及以和算教學作為一種家業的和算師，論述十九世紀數學的專業化趨勢。

This article is devoted to explaining the state about wasan education and the popularization of mathematics education in the 19th century by introducing the important place of mathematics teaching and the important wasan teachers. Then, the paper will analyze important wason textbook, Sampo Shinsho, to understand the teaching materials and its structure. After that, the paper will explain the professionalization of mathematics in the 19th century by discussing the general situation of wasan education, the contemporaneous views on mathematics and the wasan teachers who taught mathematics as a kind of family business.
