摘要
跑步活動的普遍，因而改善了國民的健康及體力，並產生了數以萬計的馬拉松運動員。然而，參與馬拉松運動雖可帶來個人英雄主義色彩，但準備一個全程馬拉松賽會卻非易事，對個人體力而言是項艱鉅的考驗，背地裡所付出之心血、耗費之時間，非一般人所能理解。因此，兼顧實質的訓練及合理的休養，就要以移地訓練的方式來達到事半功倍的效果。「旅行訓練」為一新興名詞，是「旅行」及「訓練」的復合詞句，其字句含義有別於「觀光旅行」但性質類似「運動觀光」，其大概意涵是藉著旅行途中或尋覓－特別環境，來進行體能方面的練習或比賽，以達到身體活動的成效。因此欲了解「旅行訓練」的真正意義時，必須先對「旅行」與「訓練」的定義有所了解後，才能延伸旅行訓練的實質精神。台灣地理環境特殊，平坦之路少、且天然草皮不多見，再加上交通狀況雜亂，民從對馬拉松運動缺乏共識、認同不足，所以要培育優秀馬拉松跑者實非易事。因而移地活動及出國訓練比賽有其必要性。

The ones that ran and moved about are general, therefore has improved people's health and physical power, and has produced tens thousands of marathon athletes. But, participating in the marathon movement can bring individualistic heroism color, it will not be an easy thing to prepare a whole marathon, it is a test of a difficult hard iron as to personal physical power, the energies paid privately, and time to consume, only if common people can understand. So, give consideration to training for the essence and rational recuperation, should get the result of getting twice the result with half the effort by way of training moving. 'travel not training' one new developing for noun 'travel' and 'train' words and phrases not complex, its words and expressions meaning is different from 'visit and travel', but nature is similar to 'sports are visited', its probably meaning makes use of during the journey or seeks a special environment, to carry on exercise or the competition of physical stamina, in order to reach the effect that the body moves about. So when the real meaning wanted to understand 'travel and train', could extend and travel the essence spirit trained to 'travel' understanding to some extent with the definition that train first. The geographical environment in Taiwan is special, there are few smooth ways, and the natural turf is rare, combining with the traffic mixed and disorderly, the people move and lacks the common understanding to the marathon, admit insufficiently, so it is not an easy thing in fact to foster the outstanding marathon runner. There are its necessities to move the ground activity and going abroad competition training.
