Design of a Novel TripleRectangular Ring Monopole Antenna for Multiband Operation

摘要


A novel multiband triple rectangular ring monopole antenna is presented. The proposed antenna consistsof the triple rectangular ring radiation patch, dual symmetrical L shape ground plane and a 50Ω CPW-fed microstrip line. The triple rectangular ring radiation patch can generate multiband frequencies, byadjusting the gap between dual symmetrical L shape ground plane and microstrip linecan increase the bandwidth at lower frequency band and modifying the height of dual symmetrical L shape ground plane with the distance between triple rectangular ring radiation patch can increase the bandwidth at upper frequency band. The measured return loss S11< -10dB of the proposed antenna is 1.9GHz-9.15GHz, the bandwidth of 131% and the peak gain of antenna about 1.17dBi. The proposed antenna has good radiation patternsand the operation frequencyband can cover UMTS, Bluetooth, LTE2300/2500, WLAN 2.4/5.2/5.8GHz and WiMAX wireless communication systems.
