Constitution is the fundamental principle of a country that serves as the highest law on the human rights of the citizens and determines the political rights of a nation. When there is a difference among the norm, the social, and political rights, a constitutional change is highly likely to take place. This phenomenon occurs to adjust the law in accordance to the social and political realities so that the norm can be more effective. On the other hand, the changes will influence the structure and development of the constitutionalism of a nation. This study investigates the constitutional amendment model in Taiwan and its influences towards Taiwanese constitutionalism. Furthermore, it is also expected to function as a personal reflection on some controversial issues.
