The Gakurin Seminary of Japan's Rissho Kosei-kai

Rissho Kosei-kai has become Japan's second largest household Buddhist society. More than 50 years ago, the organization had already established a course of action-a cradle to cultivate organization officials-the Gakurin Seminary. This article seeks to take Rissho Kosei-kai's Gakurin Seminary as it's subject to introduce its background, current status, and function. Next, it explains Gakurin Seminary's process of inauguration and its teaching system. The article explores the distinguishing characteristics of Gakurin Seminary's curriculum, its methods of cultivation, etc. in order to offer Taiwan religious circles a reference.
