摘要

歷史是一切事物發展的過程，醫學則是隨著人類文明的進化與發展而不斷的演變。本研究之主要目的是探討台灣中醫護理的歷史與發展。本文所收集的資料整理後分爲兩個主要方向討論；一、台灣地區中醫藥發展歷程，以及二、台灣地區中醫護理發展歷程及現況。
對於台灣地區中醫藥發展歷程將詳細敘述包括（一）中醫師檢核考試制度；（二）高等中醫藥教育；（三）中醫醫療機構；（四）中醫中藥科學研究；（五）行政院衛生署中醫藥委員會的成立與發展。
而在台灣地區中醫護理發展歷程及現況中則依據時期分爲；（一）萌芽期；（二）發展期；以及（三）專業組織成立期－－中醫護理專業團體等三時期分述之。

History is the process of development. The development of medicine and medical science is correlated with the evolution of human civilization. This paper discusses the history and development of traditional Chinese medicine nursing: Most importantly, the paper focuses on the course of development and its current status.
Subtopics of the history of Chinese medicine in Taiwan include: (a) the examination system for practitioners, (b) higher education, (c) educational institutions; (d) research; and (e) the Committee on Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy in the Department of Health.
Three stages in the development of traditional Chinese medical nursing in Taiwan are (a) infancy, (b) development period, and (c) establishment of professional organizations.
