Web 2.0 Development Trend Preliminary Analysis

摘要


隨著資訊技術的進步與網路的普及,網路環境逐漸由早期被動的Web 1.0逐漸轉移成另一種更具互動性的Web 2.0,網頁關注的焦點也從「本文」走向「內容」。隨著與日俱增Web 2.0相關網路應用之崛起,電子商務以及網路相關業者提供另一發展契機,似乎已擺脫過去.com網路泡沬化的陰影,然而並非眾多的Web 2.0網站均能面對實際競爭的挑戰而存活,因此如何辨識並歸納出成功Web 2.0網路應用之特徵實為當務之急。 本論文旨在針對Web 2.0之來龍去脈做介紹,並根據國內外成功Web 2.0網站實例、結合三種商業模式、以及O' Reilly提出的八項Web 2.0核心型態之內涵,分析歸納出:關注用戶獲利關鍵、社群力量無遠弗界、最佳服務豐富內容、以及快速的系統或軟體更新等四項Web 2.0關鍵成功因素,此外Web 2.0網站安全相關議題以及企業整體風險評估仍須審慎考量,本研究結果可提供國內網路相關產業界作為未來投資規劃之參考依據。

As the rapid development of IT and networking, internet environment has evolved from Web 1.0 to a more interactive mode called Web 2.0. The major concern also shifts from text to content. Opportunities for e-Commerce and networking business seem to be evoked. However, not all Web 2.0 companies will survive the practical competition. How to identify successful factors to Web 2.0 companies become crucial for business. This paper first introduces the development and relevant characteristics of Web 2.0. Next, some key point factors is investigated based on studying of successful Web 2.0 companies, three commercial models, and the eight core patterns by O'Reilly. These factors are closer relationship with customers, great power of internet user community, best service and content, and release early and release often for software. The security risk for Web 2.0 companies should be also concerned and evaluated. Relevant findings provide reference to business for future research or investment purposes.
