本文提出雙層理想化觀念,即可逆操作理想化與熱力平衡操作理想化。此二理想化之偏離分別直接對應了結構性設計 與輸送現象速率之限制。據此,本文進而結合可用能(Exergy)觀念,量化此等偏離之程度並定義為本質性與非本質性可用能損失。針對板式簡單蒸餾塔,本文提供了包括整塔與個別板之本質性與非本質性可用能損失之定義與分析方法。一座去乙烷塔之分析結果展現了蒸餾塔之可用能損失量化分佈結果。此等量化結果可明確指出結構性設計限制與輸送現象速率限制之相對重要性,以及應優先改善之塔內位置所在。本文針對結構性設計與質傳速率分別利用中間再視器與塔板堪高之改善措施,分析結果顯示本質性與非本質性可用能損失分別降低了10.9%與13.4%。
