Abstract Euthalia Rosempona Fruhstorfer is one of the endemic butterflies in Taiwan. We found that hatching larvae feed on Cyclobalanopsis pachytloma (O. Seem ) leaves and can completely mature on this plant. This is Ist record of this being a host plant in Taiwan. This Ist paper describes the morphology of egg, larva, and pupa of E. Rosempona Fruhstorfer. We also make some suggestions on butterfly conversation.
摘要 甲仙綠蛺蝶( Euthalia Rosempona Fruhstorfer)為台灣特有種蝴蝶，蝶卵經由套網採得，以捲斗櫟(Cyclobalanopsis pachytloma (O.Seem))餵食幼蟲能夠完成其生活史，且是首次記錄寄主植物。本文首次描述卵、幼蟲與蛹的型態，並提供綠蛺屬保育上的建議。
