Medievalism succeeded by Realism which accompanied with the copernican revolution in cosmology, physics & astronomy. The attitude of doubts argned by Rene Descultes & the experimental spirits insisted by Francis Bacon influenced educational thought in the 16th, 17th & centuries. This paper deals with the social, scientific, & cultural background of Realism, mainly, if discusses, explans, & criticizes several representatives of Realists in the educational aspects of ideas, curriculum, mother tongnes, & sense impression teachings.
