“Shao-Shi-Shan-Fan Essay”, written by Hu Ying-lin the Ming dynasty, claimed that people in the Tang dynasty expressed their thinking with implications through novels. Actually, it means that scholars in the Tang dynasty created novels with deliberation. The novels they were made up of were not only long but the plots in novels were complicated and winding as well. Regardless of what the implication of the novels was and of what imagination the author wanted to depicted, it is no doubt that the super imagination of legends written in the Tang dynasty often appeared in folk fairy tales; moreover, the genre of‘Super-reality’in “Pillow Note”---like truth but fantasy --- did meet the characteristics of folk fairy tales: strong fantasy, full imagination, and romanticism.
